Journal #18 Reaction - Writing
I heard usually American like crow. They think that kind of bird mean bring good luck. However in Asia the crow is thought definitely opposite meaning as death or brings bad luck. In this poem, the crow looks like used as bad meaning. The author might be saying about sorrow for the lost Lenore. This poem’s whole atmosphere is dark and gloomy. Many dim words show me the author’s emotion. He heard some sounds as like tapping, rapping, beating, entreating thing. He might leave while he pondered weak and weary between thrill and fantastic terror situation.

I think the crow is bad luck here too, but maybe not as much as in Asia. I think it is a bird of death.
I wonder why the man don't leave his house to get a happy life without crow.
